high pitch hissing in playback

during playback I get a high pitch hiss that is louder than the instument and vocals. How do I get a cleaner sound?

I cannot believe your post has gone this long without a reply. Do you have any outboard gear such as mixers, stomp boxes, or drum machines hooked up while recording? It sounds like you have something turned all the way up that you have nothing on somewhere in your setup.
