Just listening to Long night Emma. A lovely chilled start and a nice latino style middle with some lovely pads. You've certainly nailed some good beats there as well.

Great stuff :D

Hi Brian,

Thanks for listening and the compliment! I've got some more stuff in the pipeline that I'm trying to finish - I'll let you know when it's there.

I'm also re-recording 'Within' now that I've got some better equipment.

Thanks Andy!

Will listen to your latest track when I've got the Internet back up at home.

That was cool Andy. I love walking bass lines. Then the appegios in the middle sound like a new song. A little Bachish at the ending? 8)

Well done, props.

Cheers Brian, I have actually had second thoughts about that track and think I could have done a lot better if I hadn't rushed it. It's going back to the drawing board shortly for a major revamp. I'll let you know when it's finished.

I've got a couple of new tracks up on Musicv2 -

Ready or Not - Funky sort of 1980s theme tune type thingy
She'll Never Know - slow classical piece with piano, strings & classical guitar

Just wanted to take minute to say "Thanks" to everyone, particularly Andy, for your help learning the new Cakewalk version. I have my first three tunes posted out at http://www.musicv2.com/artist/robcool (that's the shameless self promotion part). It is so cool to be able to take these tunes and get them out to MP3!

Thanks again!

Rob, I'm just downloading Rise Above now but the other 2 tracks are set to play only. My internet dial up connection is so slow it makes streaming very painful. Could you set them to download as well.

Cheers

Andy, very nice. You have some interesting chord progressions, they surprised me sometimes!

Here's my shameless self promotion. I upgraded Cakewalk Pro 6 to Home Studio- Fedx delivered it in the afternoon, I finally figured out what looping was, created a new song that night up to 3am in the morning, posted it at acidplanet.com and it hit #1 spot in acid jazz genre!

Click here to go to my home page:

Click on the PLAY control to hear any of my songs. "Funky Jazz Thing" hit #1 a few days ago. Also listen to my new song I wrote last night, "Sentimental Movie Theme". Both made in Cakewalk HS2004.

Just jumping right in.

I produced, mixed and engineered these tracks all on various versions of sonar.

www.megganmahoney.com
www.greentothink.com

the tracks on Meggan's site might have a little rewired help from Reason in there.
