Can't burn Pro Audio 9 WAV files

Anyone have trouble burning a CD from Pro Audio 9 tracks? I have Nero burning software. It burns .WAV (wave) files from CDs fine but when I try to burn a CD of songs I've recorded in Pro Audio 9 it says "file format not supported" even though it's a .WAV (wave) file I have mixed down tracks to. Anyone know a solution?
