is there a patch for cakewalk pro audio 9 for xp

Hi there,having just upgraded my midi devoted machine unfortunatly to xp
cakewalk pro 9 is locking up xp looking for directshow 5
is there a way round or is sonar as good when it comes to patch listing for korg modules. i use wavestation sr, n5 keyboard, trinity module alesis quad synthe yamaha vl7 + 3 roland modules the old prog had all these listed and worked well as a sysex dump prog as well.
please i need some help here
