Sequencer programming (CAL or otherwise)

I'm curious is there a way with cakewalk pro audio (or maybe new sonar) to programm sequencer using CAL or other method in order taht when sequencer receives a midi note it automaticaly plays the loop (for example C0 plays in loop from 00:00:00 to 00:00:05 and so on).
