The place for general discussion of Cakewalk Pro Audio.

I used to use pro tools a lot four or five years ago, and I remember a really usefull feature for setting up tempos with audio clips. You could basically put down a "marker" over any spot where you knew the bar/beat location, enter what point in the time line you wanted it to be, and then have it construct the rest for you. I found it worked really well, especially if you put down a lot of markers.

I've since started playing around in cakewalk sonar, and I really like it, but I find I still miss this one feature, since I generally put audio in first then augment that with MIDI after. Anybody know if sonar has a similar feature, I've been looking, and the closest thing I've found is groove clips, but I dont think thats the same.

I think groove clips are what you are referring to but I don't understand what you mean by "construct the rest for you". Could you explain a little further?
