I'm in dire need of an operating manual ...

Post by woodman 1928 » Wed Sep 24, 2003 5:42 pm

... for ProAudio 8. None of the tutorials that came on the CD-ROM really answer all of my questions or give me any confidence that I can use the program easily and successfully.

Please ... can anybody help?

I think you will be hard pressed to find a manual for PA8 now it is that old. In software age it is like dogs years and PA8 is about 5 generations ago now.

The update from PA8 to PA9 was quite a big step and from there to the Sonar/Home Studio range even greater with a complete change of audio engine and user interface so nothing that is written now applies to that software.

I would seriously consider upgrading. You don't know what features you are missing out on and the Sonar/HomeStudio are renowned for a much friendlier approach.

BTW I don't work for Cakewalk, I just remember how impressed I was when I upgraded.

Sorry I can't be any more help.
