Hi ... I'm an old school fart who has been nothing but satisfied with Cakewalk since its early inception. Curious to know if it will run (PA9) under XP as I am soon to break down and install XP.
Thanx............xo
Can I use Pro Audio 9 with XP?

Hi therearenorules,
I didn't see anything official on Cakewalk's site, but I did a Google search and most of the listings of system requirements for PA 9 that I did find did not list XP. Also, the user who started this post:

had problems. So overall, I'd be quite leery.

Yes, it will install and run. But you may need to deal with DirectX issues--see this tech page at Cakewalk's website: http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/DX9.ASPtherearenorules wrote:Hi ... I am using ProAudio9 with XP home edition. Loads up just fine. I'm having an issue right now but I don't believe it has anything to do with XP.
