OK . . . don't all start laughing at once. This is my FIRST post to this forum. I am 64 years old and have been using Cakewalk (Twelve Tone)programs since the early '80s when Greg Hendershott was just starting out. I've been a songwriter and composer for a lot of those years (but not professionally) and have always relied on my trusty Home Studio software (I'm currently using version EIGHT) and MIDIed my tracks out to whatever sythesizer I was using at the time. I never tried to use the VSC-DXi feature until recently. The problem is that the sound is "motorboating" (a rhythmic repetition) and is delayed. I THINK I have all my cables hooked up correctly, and when I play back through my synth, everything is fine. Any suggestions (besides coming into the 21st century and upgrading to Sonar  )

Dog:

You might have Echo ON, when it should be OFF.

I'm not sure where that's controled in your software but the Help will tell you.
