adding clik track to cakewalk

Postby johnmucci » Thu Apr 16, 2009 5:24 pm

Hi, I need someone that could tell me how to add a clik track to existing calkwalk wrk. files. Also how to send just the clik track to the drummer. I would pay someone to do it for me if that works. Thanks, John

John:

You didn't say what version but in Sonar 7:

Go to Options > Project > Metronome tab and choose 'Use Audio Metronome'

Choose the sound you want to use for the metronome click, then check the box under General that says Recording.

Create a new track and set that track to Record. Now you've got a click on a separate track. Your mixing config will determine how you send him that one track.

(You could export the click as an MP3 and have the drummer wear the MP3 player!)
