Tab View in HS2004

I'm working with HS2004...while in Staff View, there's an option for TAB view as well. There is a drop down window as if to allow you some choices but, there are none.
Just trying to find out if this is a legitimate option or if this was an item Cakewalk failed to filter out when stripping down SONAR? Should it work?
