Tempo Changing

Hi
I am currently using Cakewalk 9 and am a little stuck on a small problem which i am hoping some1 can assist me with.
I use to use an older version of cakewalk which allowed you to freely adjust the tempo of a song as it was being played. Basically what i would do is put down a click track in Cakewalk. I would then play it while i was playing an mp3 and i could slowly adjust the tempo until i found the exact tempo of the mp3.
Cakewalk 9 does not let you do this?? Or does it? Can someone please help me.
