I CANT BURN A CD FROM CAKEWALK 8.0

You will need to export your file as a Wav file and then burn it with another program like media player.

how do i change to wave file?

In CWPA 8 I think it is in the tools menu > export audio. Make sure yo export it as a 16 bit 44,100khz Wave file and then it will be the correct format to burn to disc.
Remember if your tracks are just midi you will have to record them as audio before you export them.
