:D Okay, I am asking this with the hope that someone might know of something I haven't seen yet. I need an 8 IN solution for my Sonar Rig that allows 8 track simultaneous recording, and won't break my bank account. I have my heart set on the new Tascam FW1884 simply because is gives both Tactile control of Sonar AND 8 XLR ins. The problem is, I dont have $1200 to blow at the moment. I have also considered an Aardvark Q10, but can't seem to find one under $600 bucks.

Anyone got any ideas that can get me excited about solving this dilema on a budget?

And also, please share any opinions of the Tascam FW1884 if you have used it. I REALLY like what that thing seems capable of, and would like to hear from anyone that has used it. I know Tascam is famous for Driver issues, but I'd love a hands on assessment of it. Thanks!

There's the light version of the M Audio Delta 10/10.
