Hello dear Cakewalkers
I have 14 MIDI tracks in my song, all playing to my YAMAHA EX5 ; alas, CWPA plays them unevenly ...
If remove let's say 10 tracks, MIDI will playback normally, with regularity ...

So there must be some fine tuning in Cakewalk or in my Yamaha to solve the problem... buffer size or something ....
Or is it because I have just a PIII 500 MHz ?

Any advice would help ...
Regards
Gilles

This couls also be an issue the EX5 is famous for...If your EX has on older operation system than verson 1.14 than you definitly will have timing issues.. check your OS and if you find its not the latest versio 1.14 If not you can get a set of eproms from yamaha I got mine no problem with only a phone call..Ive heard that others have had a bit more diffaculty..I guess some people just dont know how to ask ..I had the same trouble untill I upgraded...also you should check out this link
