Hi
I've have this problem ya see......
When I want to record my midi (in particular the midi sent to my Roland JV-80) back to an audio track, I find that the audio track and the midi track do not play back together perfectly. It's not that all is continiously lagging behind but the odd kick or snare seem to be lagging (slight hesitation - flam).
I can even hear it happening while recording the track so it's not the audio capture...it's the midi playback (only during recording itself) meaning when I record guitars or bass there is no problem.
I'm using an old legacy awe32 soundblasters' joystick port as my midi interface and a "Gina by Echo" card for my audio.
Now for the question ; interaction part!!!
Does anyone think or know if getting a USB midi interface device such as the "USB Midisport UNO" would solve this dilema???

Using a USB interface could actually make it worse. The only thing I can think of is that you have to sync cakewalk to audio to get perfect audio recording even when playing the midi. Give it a try and see if it works.
