lost volume

hi guys. another prob. sometimes, i'll input drum notes but the volume is all same. even if i change the individual notes to 20 or less it just sounds like 100 the default. any help. thanks
You will have to split your drum tracks to different tracks with each drum sound on each track. Then you can use volume envelopes to control the levels of each sound.
Another way to tackle this is to edit the velocities in the piano roll. This way you are controlling the volume of the drum hits the way they are supposed to be controlled. This way you can add accent to some beats and quieten others.
