MIDI device problems

I am using the MIDIMAN Uno interface. In the MIDI devices tab, MIDI mapper & the Uno are 2 choices that work. However, after a few minutes, no MIDI info will be sent or received until I switch the device. Both work, but I have to keep switching them every few minutes. Any ideas?
