No Sound in Playback ever!

First, let me say thaty I'm very new to cakewalk. I just got a midiman oxygen 8 keystation MIDI controller. In other programs it seems to work, but in Cakewalk, I can never get any audio sounds from my MIDI device, whether I am inputing or playing back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a laptop with a realtek soundcard.
