midi from one programme to cakewalk

Postby nick » Wed Aug 27, 2003 9:09 pm

anyone know how to use the midi sounds made from a different music programme (Fruity Loops) in Cakewalk, without just recording it as a wavefile. I need it to be sequenced into Cakewalk, as I just can't get on with Cakewalk's drum pattern writers.

You can export the loops you make in FL as midi files and then open in cakewalk.

You can output from Fl and input to Cakewalk using Midi Yoke or similar.

If you use FL studio and sonar you can open FL as a DXi within sonar and save it all as a bundle.
