Hi All,

I have been having trouble getting my Korg T3 synth to properly switch banks through Sonar (using an ins file). I have downloaded the one on the cakewalk site, as well as a couple of others but when I use Sonar to select any patches on my T3's B bank, all that happens is that the correponding patch # on the A bank will be selected. I have the T3 set to combi mode and I am setting the Sonar track MIDI channel to 2 or above (the T3 will respond to program change data on MIDI channel 1 by switching combis). I have tried bank select method 0 and 3. Here is the instrument definition file that I have tried so far. Any help would be appreciated:

Thanks!

Ken

I've tried everything. See this post:

If you can offer any suggestions, I'd be indebted. I think the T3 just can't do bank changes via MIDI (least not from combi or sequencer mode).

I want to write data into a file on my CASIO fx-9860g and then read the data from the file with a calculator program. I dont have my manual any more, so I need somebody to tell me how this is done. Thanks
Part 1: create the file
Part 2: the program syntax to read the data from the file
Any help appreciated.
