Hickup on startup with midi and audio together

When I insert an audio track into a song with existing midi tracks, I get a pause on start up which is annoying to say the least. I'm using Sonar 4 and an M-AUDIO Mobile pre for adio interface and a motu midi express 128 for midi as well as TTS in Sonar. I can't seem to work this out. Is there somone out there who can help?
