Turning on automation for Midi in Sonar lowers trackvolume

Postby valupakk » Thu Jul 13, 2006 7:02 pm

When I arm any midi track for automation within Sonar 4 or 5 Producer Editions, the volume level of that track automatically decreased dramatically. The volume sliders do not change, so turning them up to maximum volume does not help. After arming the track for automation, there is no way to undo this other than loading the last saved version. If anyone can help with this, I would be very greatful. This problem only occurs in Sonar, not in older versions of Cakewalk, because there was no "arm for automation" function in earlier versions of cakewalk.

Software/Hardware
Sonar 4/5 PE
Windows XP SP2
Roland RD-700 Keyboard
Soundblaster Audigy[/b]
