Cycle recording - Muting

Postby Noops » Sat Apr 07, 2007 4:23 am

It's been a little while since I posted here.
I'm really surprised at the lack of activity in this Forum now.

I'm using Sonar 1.1 and doing cycle recording set to a new track with each pass.
The first time I recorded today the tracks were recorded as I wanted them: that is, each new track was automatically muted when everything was finished recording.

But every time after that, when I used cycle recording, at the end, each track was not muted. This meant that I had to go to each track and mute them one by one so I could listen to each one, one at a time.

Can someone please tell me how to have each track *end up staying muted* when the cycle record has finished?

TIA

Ric

Cool! I just figured this one out on my own.
I have the manual but it wasn't any help.

All I did was select the track I wanted to record on and set it to MUTE!
That's right, I recorded in MUTE mode.

Then each new track was set to MUTE also! Neat find.
