Cakewalk TTS-1 setting change when you play a recording

After you set the desired effects such as chorus or reverb etc. using cakewalk, the setting change when you play what you have recorded. Is there a way to stop this?

Why would you want to use that piece of *** in the first place? What a waste of disc space. Session drummer and groove synth too. If you're going to bundle goodies - make sure they're goodies.
Sonar is a great program, but with crap bundled plugins.
