Bad audio importing wavs

Postby Mixman63 » Thu Oct 09, 2003 5:25 pm

I just got Sonar 2.0XL set up on my Win2k SP4 PC. My sound card in the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. When I import a wav file into Sonar and play it, the sound is bad. It sounds like there is digital distortion - like if you record something on your PC too hot- that screachy sound. The wav files sound and look fine in Soundforge. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Options > Audio > increase the buffer slider towards the right this will give better quality audio but higher latencey.
