tempo mapping imported audio

I'm using Sonar 2.2 and importing a WAV file (recording of a drummer). I'd like to set it up so that the downbeat falls on the start of a measure and I'd like to have the metronome locked on to the tempo so I can add MIDI tracks and get a useable notation printout. Any slick ways to do this in Sonar or do I need a different program?
