Please someone tell me why I cannot assign each channel of my MOTU 896 to a channel in SONAR1.
my only options in audio are MOTU Mix1 and MOTU Analog.
What I need are 1-2 left right through 7-8 left right, but they are not there!

What drivers are you using? MME drivers will only give you basic ins and outs. WDM drivers will give you all ins and outs available? Sonar 1 doesn't support ASIO which would probably be the best drivers for the MOTU.
