I have both Cakewalk pro and Sonar on my computer. When I open either of them, I get a message saying that "Cannot open staff view music notation font." I went to my backups and re-load the programs, but to no avail. I don't believe that the fonts are gone, but there is a problem opening them. Can anyone help? I use the notation feature more than any other....

Thanks.

Once you've upgraded to Sonar you should transfer any files you need like the CAL files etc and uninstall Pro Audio. I had both on my system and Sonar was very unstable. As soon as I got rid of PA everything worked properly. The trouble is they are built round 2 completely different audio engines and work in different ways.

Once you create files in any version of Sonar 1.3 or later the file formats change and they can no longer be opened in PA.
