Pops and Clicks, Sonar

I have been using the TTS-1 Dxi synth that came with Sonar version 5. During playback I am getting clicks at the rate of about 2 per second. If I mix down and generate a wav file that too also had the same clicks within it. Can anyone direct me to where I should be looking for the problem.
