Zero waveform display in track view

Postby homi-claus » Thu Nov 24, 2011 8:31 pm

Problemo: No visible waveforms w/Sonar X1
Hardware: Late model PC with: 3.1 GHz Intel i3 dual core, 1440-something FSB, 8 GB DDR3 and a SATA 3 based raid array.
Description: Editing waveforms is obviously difficult, if not impossible, when one can't freekin see them. I know they have been produced because they appear temporarily when moving an audio clip to which they belong - only to vanish once their clip has been moved. I tried the "manual", or "forced" redraw business within the "ini" modification area in "preferences" to no avail. I also experimented w/the color choices in "preferences", nice try but no cigar!
Can somebody out there in Sonarville conjure up a solution to this case of the AWOL waveforms? I'm beginning to suspect my studio must be located on Indian burial grounds. Please tell me it isn't so.

thanking you in advance, Homi-claus (aka L. Michael)
