Hi, I'm retired, back to music.
I used Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.0 with Yamaha's old 01V Mixer. Worked great on Windows 98 SE. But that's pretty old. I can run Cakewalk on XP but it's a bumpy ride. I hit the save button a lot! And I would love to hook up the 01V Mixer with my ADAT card. Is anyone doing this?
If not I have Sonar, but I simply liked what I know Cakewalk PA9.0, the staff and 'r' to record with the 01V is great, but I don't think XP support the drivers for the ADAT card. Wikipedia explains that situation. Sure would like to get back into writing music with the old 01V on a faster machine.
