How do I Microsoft GS synth back

Postby Horton » Fri Dec 26, 2003 3:43 am

I've just formated my pc and have gone back to windows 98 but no Microsoft GS synth shows up in the midi options like it did when i was running XP, How do I get it for 98?

Is a soudcard driver thing for my soundcard?

the reason I've gone back to 98 is cause somone said that cakewalk pro 9.0 is not compatable with XP.

My guess is you'll need to download the 98 drivers for your card again. I had no issues running CWPA9 on my upgraded-from-98 XP machine.

I would say that PA9 would probably be more stable on a nicely tweaked XP system.
