Cakewalk Pro Audio/Home Studio Question

A while back I purchased a copy of home studio 2003 and later recieved a copy of Pro Audio 9 when I updated my recording card. I like to use Pro Audio because of its multi-track recording capabilities, but wish to access some of the home studio effects that Pro Audio 9 doesn't have (E.G. VSC or Compressor) without switching to Home studio to edit. Is this possible? And if so, how can I do it? Any advice would be greatly appreiciated.
