I have just finished a song in Sonar 3 and would like some advice on compression and EQ. I'm sort of new to the computer music realm and i'm confused as how to effectively mix with sonar.
At the moment i'm mixing as i'm working and adding eq and compression to each track then bouncing to another to save cpu usage and reduce dropouts.
My main question is in my search on the net i can't seem to find much info on suitable eq and compression settings in sonar (apart from http://home.earthlink.net/~tparker24/sonar/ which has great specific settings for use in Sonar) Does anyone know of any online resources on this subject.

The song i mentioned is available for download at http://www.blinduncledallas.com/Demos%20page.htm

Please tell me what you think and any advice that you can give me will be greatly appreciated!

You may want to work on your drum sounds a bit. The mix is pretty good, the drums are really weak sounding. Maybe add some compression on the snare and bass drum and I think you'll hear a big difference. Good job!
