When I play one of the sythn instruments that came with Cakewalk, it's mono. How do I make it stereo?

If you have a mono sound source, you can't 'make it stereo'. However you can do some tricks to give you 'fake stereo'.

1- Take the mono signal, copy it and paste it into a new track.

2- Pan the two identical tracks hard left and hard right respectivley

3- Do one of the following:

- EQ one of them differentley
- Set a short delay (7ms?) on one side
- add an effect (like a chorus) on one of the sounds

You can also send a mono signal into a stereo effect like a reverb. Pan the reverb returns hard left and right.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
