I've just formated my pc and have gone back to windows 98 but no Microsoft GS synth shows up in the midi options like it did when i was running XP, How do I get it for 98?

Is a soudcard driver thing for my soundcard?

the reason I've gone back to 98 is cause somone said that cakewalk pro 9.0 is not compatable with XP.

Pro Audio 9 works fine on XP as well as W2k. I think the main reason it's not supported is that xp was not around when 9.0 was released, w2k is the same way.

I ran ProAudio 9.0 on my new xp pro system until my upgrade to Sonar arrived.
