Ok....I just got Cakewalk a few days ago. I read the readme that talks in foreign language about midi and inputs and outputs. I am completely lost. Is there any place where I could find extended instructions or instructions for total beginners. I don't even know what the hell MIDI means?
PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN. Briefly explain the basics. I know that's a tough task, but I just need a little push to get me started.
Thank you thank you thank you
TOTALLY NEW - NEED MAJOR HELP
I can help you, but I need to know the following:
1- What Cakewalk product are you using?
2- What is your system configuration:
- Processor
- Hard Drive Size (and speed if you know it)
- Ram
3- Do you have a midi interface? If so, what is the brand?
4- Are you going to be recording mainly audio, midi or both?
5- Are you using a mixer or console?
The more info you give us the better. It's not all that complicated after your setup.
Good Luck!
