:x
When I record my MIDI tracks then quantize them, the notes look to be in the right spot. However, on playback, some notes are definately lagging. It's not a quantize problem, because I quantized a simple hi hat pattern in eigth notes, and say that they were in the right position. I'm at a loss here. My music sounds horrible now, & I know it's not me or the quantizing. Please help

I'm using MOTU Fastlane MIDI interface. I recently installed XP on the PC & wiped it clean. Do you think I have to reconfigure some things? It worked fine on Win 98.

MOTU fastlane MIDI interface, Windows XP, Cakewalk PA9, Proteus 2000. It's only happening on 1 song & the song that screws up has a trak with arpeggiation on it. Could that effect be causing the lag? Thanks for helping. I'm almost ready to throw the PC out the window :x

try taking the arpeggiation out and see if the problem persists.
