Hey,
I just sold my pci-822. Configuration should be fairly straightforward. I will detail the basic steps below. This is from memory- so if I leave something out let me know.

1- Install PCI-822's NEWEST DRIVERS!

2- Restart and insert pci-822 into machine

3- When machine restarts look for little green pci 822 icon on right hand side of taskbar

4- Click on taskbar icon

5- select SONAR

6- Launch Sonar

7- Run Wave Profiler

8- You should be all set

Sometimes installing this card (I had it in three different machines under 4 OS's) can be a major pita. Once it's working it's stable though.

I used mine with a TM-D1000 and if you are doing that invest in a high quality word clock cable. You can use a high quality coaxil cable from Radio Shack, but will need to purchase a bnc to rca adapter (why Tascam designed a card to go with a mixer then put two different connectors is beyond me). Set your TM-D1000 clock to TDIF A and your PCI-822 to internal.

Buffer size worked well at 64 in both Sonar/Pro Audio and PCI-822 tray. I had issues with the ASIO drivers, wdm worked fine though.

Good LucK!
