I'm using Sonar 3 with a Yamaha PSR-230 keyboard on a SB Audigy. Whenever i try to record something thru my SB-midi port, the notes just keep going.I hit a key on the keyboard once, but when i release the key the notes keeps going until i shut down Sonar.
I use the sb-audigy midi port for input and de sb-audigy synth[a] for output.
Does anyone know if this problem is caused by my keyboard or the soundcard? I've reinstalled all the drivers for it.
Notes keep going in Sonar
This will be a hardware configuration of some kind that will have to be investigated. Your synth is receiving the midi note on signal but not the midi note off signal.
Check that your keyboard is connected correctly and set up correctly with local control switched off. Try disconnecting the midi plug from the midi in port on your keyboard and just use the keyboard as input. Then try connecting it and selecting the PSR 230 as the output in sonar. Messing around witht he ways things are connected is the only way you are going to resolve this problem.
