select a midi track
midi effects
session drummer

It will let you program patters, however no midi data will show up.

If you want to see the midi data, simply put add midi effect/quantize (these patterns are already quantized so it wont change anything - the midi data will appear.

I believe sometimes when you add a beat in session drummer that if you try playing it you wont hear it "try highlighting the beat that you added to your beat window " i dont know if this makes sense but i have found my session drummer would'nt play unless i highlighted the beat in the window
before i hit play

uh...MIDI instrument...hm...well...i dont have one...so...i guess thats why it doesnt work? i need to be routing all that stuff to samples? it doesnt do it automatic? i thought there was stuff built in to cakewalk that i could do it with?
