I'm just getting started with Pro Audio 9, and I've spent the entire day trying to make a metronome happen, and I just DON'T GET IT!!!!
I'm definitely a midi moron. Trying both to use my XV-88 keyboard OR the ol' Soundblaster card in the computer, and just when I think I've got a woodblock working for me, it's all an illusion, because as soon as I try a new sound on a different track, the metronome now plays that instead. I'm losing my mind, and the manual just skims right past this issue like it should be the simplest little deal. But for me, it's like Nuclear Fusion..... Help!!!!!
Does the metronome have to be a dedicated track? This puzzles me, because it seems like it should just fire from a ghost track or something. I'm obviously missing something big time.
