I have completed a song using CW which include music and vocals. I have one small mistake only about 2 seconds on a vocal track. Please advise the steps to delete/erase/mute this small portion of the track. I have read the help files but I'm sure someone out there can tell me the simple way to do this. Thanks

Make a copy of your work before doing anything else.

Highlight the track you want to work on.

On the menu bar, click VIEW then AUDIO.

Go to the time frame of where the error occured.

In the time frame reference bar (just above the audio track) highlight the portion of time you want to delete. Whe you do this, the audio track will be highlited.

Once you have that highlighted, right click in the field and select delete.

Don't save your work until you are sure you have deleted the mistake. If you made an error, use ctrl-z to undo the delete.

If you have corrected the error and you are satisfied, then save your work.
