In the SONAR 8 instrument definition file patches are arranged in groups by BANK numbers. That means that all the sounds you see when you select a patch are from that specific bank.
That's not what I want! I want all my sounds sorted according to what INSTRUMENT I'm looking for, Like I can do in Cubase 4.
Does anyone know if this is possible to do in SONAR? I have more than 1000 sounds in a fully expanded Fantom XR module and I would really like to be able to select sounds from a list of instrument types (PIANO, EPIANO, ORGAN, BASS etc.)
