Hello
I have an AUDIGY soundcard.
I wish to use many soundfonts at the same time in SONAR.
These soundfonts are loaded in memory, with different BANK numbers, appearing in AUDIO HQ.
When I open SONAR, I take a midi track, then for output I choose SB Audigy Synth A, channel : number 1 , but for BANK there is no choice.

How can I unlock the BANK numbers for the Soundfont device ?
I tried with Options/instruments, but without success...

Thank you for your help.

I don't know about unlocking the banks. But there are other ways to use soundfonts apart from what you store on the soundcard. I have a Live card and never used it's soundfont facilities, I find it too awkward.

You can try the Livesynth pro DXi and then you can load multiple instances of it on different tracks. You can also attach soundfonts directly to the track you want in the Option > Soundfont menu.

I found the answer in the HAMMERSOUND site
I just have to open SONAR and click Otions/Soundfonts
and attach the soundfont I need to each N° of bank.
And that's it !
Very easy !

About LIVE SYNTH DXI I have found it OK for piano or guitar, but for flute or oboe, which produce a continuous sound, it's get broken beetween one note and the next. It's much better when loaded in RAM.

Enjoy your music !
