:?: Hello all, I (think) was lucky to aquire a Technics SX-AX7 for my birthday.
So, I got Cakewalk Audio Pro 9, updated it to 9.03, hoping it would work with my synth. Unfortunately, when I play a loaded MIDI file, all the instrument are wrong for my synth, and I have to change all the channels to channel 1. Also my synth drums etc, don't work when I try to play the MIDI song. Does anyone out there now how I can make an INS file for my synth, or at least how to get me started on one?

Thanx in advance

Yeah, I'm trying to find or make an Ins file for a Yamaha RY9, looks very complicated but if I have any luck I'll let you know.

Hey AndyChap

read your posting on Cakewalk Forum and seen you were looking for a Cakewalk/SONAR instrumen definition file for the Yamaha RY9..

I downloaded the RY9 manual and attempted to write one of these for you but I'm not sure if it'll work because I don't know the LSB and MSB on this unit for changing banks but I've produced one anyway if you would like to try it just email me on craftbro@midicraft.freeserve.co.uk and I'll send it to you as an attachment..

Let me know

regards :D
