I have a Roland VS-1680 that I recorded some tracks on, and I am trying to transfer them onto cakewalk pro audio 9 for editing. I have a MIDI I/O connection, and a SPDIF connection, but I can't get ANY sound from my recorder to play or show up on CPA9. :x I have an M-Audio Delta 410 soundcard that DOES pick up on the SPDIF, but it seems that the audio will not transfer onto cakewalk. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR WEEKS!!!

try double clicking the speaker icon in your toolbar. go to options, properties, recording(check all) then select your mode of recording. either way, your delta comes with a softsware. you have to assign which input you need. if you can hear while the cakewalk is open but not arm on any track, then this solves the problem.
