I have just upgraded my pc to WinXP and found out that the recording software I was using in the past is not compatable and ther is no upgrade available. So off to the bank for more cash. But, before I go i would like to have some oppinions about HS2004. I do allot of acoustic guitar and vocal recordings and I'm not too worried about the gutiar. But, if the software doesn't record volcals cleanly and allow for effect to wettin it up then it's not worth the money. Has anyone had good luck recording vocals and possibly a recording I can listen to? Any help would be appreciated.

thanks....

The quality of your vocal tracks will be down to the quality of your mic and soundcard. HS2004 will be spot on for recording and adding effects. I would recommend getting the XL version. It has a lot of extras which are well worth the extra few pounds. The opinion is that HS2004XL is as powerful and has as many features as Sonar 2XL.
