Hello all,
I recently installed cakewalk home studio 2002 on my computer, with the intention of using it to integrate midi and audio tracks for eventual recording to a Yamaha AW4416. I've done this with just midi tracks on an ancient version of Cakewalk with no problems. Well, the problem here is I can't figure out how to get Cakewalk to sync to the midi time code out from the AW4416 (old cakewalk did it no problem - there was a little button next to the transport functions that said slave to MTC, or something like that). I've been through every word of the (strikingly useless) help manual, and seem to have exhausted online resources, too. It doesn't seem possible that cakewalk wouldn't be able to sync to another midi device, but that's what it's looking like. Anybody out there wanna set me straight on this? BTW, I've spend LOTS of time trying to figure this out at this point, and so would be extremely appreciative of an answer.

Thanks in advance, and happy recording

Rick
